Big news for all non-Asians who love Kpop, you also may have a chance to debut!
With so much interest from the West towards Korean culture, it was only a matter of time before some daring Korean company decided to find a passionate person to try to debut in a Kpop group. Upcoming girl group The Gloss, produced by MGMC, will not only have a Korean-American member but will in fact have a completely French member, Olivia! Along with Grace, Sol-E and Liz, it seems that Olivia is ready to break boundaries and show that Kpop is for everybody.
The group was auditioned and formed in 2012, then began to live together in 2013 as they started to prepare for their debut. Although there is no debut date set yet, the girls have been releasing a number of teasers, including their most recent one of Psy‘s Gentleman. They’ve also covered Justin Timberlake and The Black Eyed Peas, showing that they have a really great set of vocals. This is one debut of 2013 to keep an eye on!
