What is the most-searched word in Google Korea?

 

Google Korea released a list of the most-searched words for the first half of 2013, which include the most popular entries for celebrities and TV programs.

Beating Psy and other top world star K-Pop idols, the popular animation, Pororo the Little Penguin, emerged as the most-searched words in Google Korea. MBC show Infinite Challenge followed behind the little penguin, and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin came in third.

Although Psy’s overwhelming worldwide phenomenon got overshadowed by Pororo the Little Penguin, two of his millions of views hit songs completed the rest of the top 10, as followed in descending order: Gangnam Style, actor Park Si-hoo, the movie Masquerade, TV personality Kang Ye-bin, Gentleman, skater Kim Yu-na, and lastly the Japanese animation Attack on Titan.

For the most-searched entries of the celebrities, the list as follows: Ryu, Park Si-hoo, Kang Ye-bin, Kim Yu-na and TV personality Clara, with Infinite Challenge being the most-searched TV program.
