IU will finally be returning to the K-Pop scene this September!

Initially having planned for a July comeback, IU decided to delay her comeback because of her busy filming schedule for the drama “You’re the Best, Lee Sooshin.” Since the drama will be concluding on August 25, IU will soon have more time to focus on preparing for her new album, which is scheduled to be released sometime mid-September.

Although an exact comeback date and concept have not yet been released, IU recently revealed through her guest appearance on the TV show “Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook” that her new album is already nearing the end of the production process and that some of the album’s tracks were composed by her.

IU’s September comeback will mark the end of a sixteen month hiatus from her musical career; as a result, many fans are excited to know that the singer will soon be releasing some new music. IU’s last musical activity was the release of her single “Spring of a Twenty Year Old,” which was a special gift for the fans who have supported IU since her debut.
