Girl group Girls' Generation won the 'Video of the Year' at the First YouTube Music Awards.
With their song, "I Got a Boy," they were honored with the 'Video of the Year'.
They were up against other famous artists including Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Psy.

Their win was a special moment for the group as well as for Korea. They were the only Asian artist to win a trophy at the YouTube Music Awards.
The members showed their gratitude as they thanked their fans for their support.
This is the first year for the YTMA and they give recognition in 6 genres including 'Video of the Year', 'Artist of the Year' and more.
On the other hand, Girls' Generation will begin their '2013 Girls' Generation World Tour~Girls & Peace' starting on November 9 in Hong Kong.
