Taeyang, who is known officially as SOL in Japan, has launched the campaign CF on May 10. The campaign will be promoted online and through various advertising outlets in Japan. | Ryeowook and Luna to play the leads on High School Musical on Stage! Posted: 11 May 2013 12:00 AM PDT  Korea will have their own remake on stage of the Disney Channel's hit teen movie 'High School Musical'. Super Junior's Ryeowook and f(x) Luna are chosen as the main leads of the musical version of the hit teen movie. Produced by CJE & M, 'High School Musical's full cast is revealed today. As for the male lead, artists who will play Troy's role are Super Junior Ryeowook, FT Island Jaejin and Kang Dong Ho while female leads for Gabriella's character will be played by f(x) Luna, AOA's Choa and musical actress Oh So Yeon. FIESTAR's Linzy and Sunday are chosen to play Sharpay's character alongside Yoo Seung Yup who will act as Sharpay's brother Ryan. | T-ara N4 to travel to LA after receiving love call from Chris Brown Posted: 10 May 2013 11:30 PM PDT  T-ara N4 receives a sudden love call from international pop star Chris Brown. On May 11, the group's agency, Core Contents Media revealed, "We are shocked to receive a love call from Chris Brown. T-ARA N4 will fly to US on the 12th to discuss everything." This unexpected meet up is because of T-ara's Dani who is an acquaintance of Chris Brown. Dani was present at Chris' concert on May 9. She showed T-ara N4's hip hop music video for 'Rural Life'. Upon watching the video, Chris Brown got an interest in the overall style of the group, including the fresh hip hop music and choreography. Prior to this, he invited the girls to one of his shooting but because of Dream Concert schedule, it was pushed through. | Super Junior Kyuhyun is chosen as the new MC for KBS 2TV‘s ‘Mamma Mia' Posted: 10 May 2013 11:00 PM PDT  Super Junior Kyuhyun has a new MC challenge, as he was chosen to replace label mate Minho as the MC of KBS 2TV's 'Mamma Mia'. It was confirmed today that Super Junior Kyuhyun had his first recording as the new MC for KBS 2TV's 'Mamma Mia' on May 9. He will be replacing SHINee's Minho, who will step down on May 12 as his last episode. The program 'Mamma Mia' had its first broadcast on July 14. In this program, they interview moms with their idol sons or daughters. Some are idols and some are gag men. Jo Hyun Ah PD, the director of the show, explained that the reason behind Minho's departure is due to his conflicting schedule,"Ever since, it has been decided that Minho is going to host the program for only one month because of SHINee's Japan tour. In that case, episode with Minho will air until this week." He also revealed the reason of choosing Kyuhyun as the new MC of the show, "We have seen his MC skills on MBC 'Golden Fishery Radio Star and he is rather skilled than any other idols. | Psy regrets 'Gentleman' Posted: 10 May 2013 10:20 PM PDT  Psy is in the US of A to promote his new track 'Gentleman'. However, he took a break from the promotion and set his foot at Harvard's Memorial Church on May 9 and lectured in front of about 800 Harvard students, faculty and community members. Psy's life before his fame was a life of 'WWF' (his nickname during college)---Withdrawal, Withdrawal, and Fail. We all know that he studied and dropped out from his Management course at Boston University and pursued his first love--- music. In the event, Psy shared his awkward experiences like his English language skills (before, he only knew 'taxi' and 'bus'), his failings as an undergraduate at Boston University and Madonna's touch-me-anywhere permission at Madison Square Gardens last year. After the talk, the Harvard Arts Blog had an exclusive backstage interview with Psy. I will share Psy's one answer that caught my attention. He was asked and I quote, "What advice do you have for Harvard students hoping to make music their life?" He answered and I quote, "I really hate to regret, but honestly the only thing that I regret these days is that I tried too hard with Gentleman. There was a lot pressure after Gangnam Style. So what I can say to those who are making art, please do not try too hard. It's got to be natural and it's got to be casual." | Medical examination reveals Hyuna's real health condition Posted: 10 May 2013 10:00 PM PDT  For the the people especially Hyuna's fans who are worrying, the medical examination result has been revealed. On May 9, Hyuna's agency, Cube Entertainment stated, "Hyuna underwent a basic examination instead of a detailed chek up. The result from the examination revealed that Hyuna doesn't have any serious health problems." On May 6, Hyuna was sent to hostpital after she fainted from a high fever that made fans worried. The agency added, "As of now, she's still has fever but we will check on her from time to time." They also revealed that they don't have any plans for Hyuna to continue her schedules until she's really fine. It's inevitable that comparison between two K-Pop groups will arise, and that's what FT ISLAND's Lee Hongki wants to avoid. There's an issue that FT ISLAND is compared to their labelmate CNBLUE. During the May 8-episode of SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' for 'Passionate Goodbye' interview, FT ISLAND's Lee Hongki implied his dislike about being compared. Co-star Ma Dong Seok disclosed one situation. He said, "One time at the set, I cracked a joke, 'Do you know Lee HongKi? CN Blue,' and his expression wasn't really pleasant." In accordance with the misfortune, Cube Entertainment updated 4Minute's followers and the press people. Cube Entertainment said that Hyuna will be excluded from the group's performances this week.
