B2ST's Junhyung, BTOB and Ha Yeon Soo will be collaborating to release a special single for Mnet's upcoming music drama, 'Monstar'.

Junhyung and BTOB's Minhyuk, Sungjae, Changsub and Hyunsik who star as members of the idol group 'Men In Black' in the drama, as well as Ha Yeon Soo will release their own rendition of Yoo Jae Ha's "Past Days".

In the drama, "Past Days" will be introduced as a song that Ha Yeon Soo sings with 'Men In Black', and it is a very important song that will open the first episode of the drama. The song will be released on May 17th.

Girls' Generation's Yuri to form love triangle with Lee Jong Suk and Seo In Guk

We previously reported that Girls' Generation's Yuri will be making her full-fledged debut on the big screen with 'No Breathing', and now, more details regarding her role were revealed.

In the film, Yuri is planning on showing an enthusiastic performance of the role of Jung Eun, a girl who dreams of becoming a musician. She is described as someone who has a free and easy personality and emotional singing voice. Her character will form a love triangle with her childhood friends played by Lee Jong Suk and Seo In Guk.

Yuri expressed her excitement about her screen debut saying, "It is a great opportunity for me to show my different side as an actress. First time I read the scenario, I really liked the character 'Jung Eun.' I'll do my best for the movie to succeed."

T-ara N4 meets T.I. + receives lovecall from producer team 1500 or NOTHIN

After meeting with Chris Brown, T-ara N4 came face-to-face with American hip-hop artist T.I.

T-ara N4 met with an American producing team at Paramount Recording Studios to discuss music and a possible collaboration. During their visit, the girls met with T.I., and they enjoyed listening to music together and discussed about various things.

In addition, T-ara N4 received a love call from the producer team '1500 or NOTHIN', who's known for producing music for Beyonce, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa.

Core Contents Media revealed, "The team of producers known as 1500 or NOTHIN proposed to meet with T-ara N4 after hearing their music. The unit is also receiving a lot of love calls from U.S. music representatives and musicians."

T-ara N4 is set to return to Korea on May 17th at 5:50 PM through Incheon Airport and will continue with their promotion activities in Korea.

Actor Lee Min Ho will return his fans' love for him through a special album this month.

Lee Min Ho will release a spceial album titled 'My Everything' in late May as a gift to his fans who have put a lot of effort into celebrating his 7th year anniversary in the industry.

On May 16, Starhaus Entertainment released the album cover of Lee Min Ho's first special album, which contains a total of seven tracks, including the title song of the same name with modern rock style genre.

The album will be released online on May 22 online and offline on May 24.

Members of 90s idol groups, H.O.T, Sechskies, g.o.d and NRG have teamed up to form the project group called H.J.g.R and recreated a classic single, "You Can Do It" (May I Love You).

First generation group members Tony An (H.O.T), Moon Hee Jun (H.O.T), Chun Myung Hoon (NRG), Eun Ji Won (Sechskies), and Danny Ahn (g.o.d), who all starring in QTV's '20th Century Boys', decided to recreate N.R.G's "You Can Do It".

Shinhwa returns with "This Love" on 'M! Countdown'

Legendary group Shinhwa, who's celebrating their 15th anniversary in the industry, is finally making a comeback with their 11th album 'The Classic' featuring the title song "This Love".

"This Love" is said to be a gift to Shinhwa by Lee McCutcheon, Andrew Jackson, and James Flannigan, who were also in charge of Shinhwa's previous hit, "Venus". Trying to add new stuff on top of the group's original color, the song features the 'voguing dance' choreography that was first ever tried among all idol groups.

Shinhwa is embarking on their comeback promotions with their first stage of "This Love" on this week's episode of 'M! Countdown'. Watch their performance below.

2PM makes a charismatic comeback on 'M! Countdown'

Breaking their two-year hiatus from the local music industry, 2PM made a grand return with much-awaited 3rd studio album, 'GROWN' featuring two title tracks "Comeback When You Hear This Song" and "All Day I Think of You".

The two new tracks are filled with the manly and mature transformation of the 2PM members. In addition, it was revealed that the 2PM members had personally taken to producing the album songs. While "Comeback When You Hear This Song" gave off a lyrical emotion, "All Day I Think of You" is a song that will allow you to feel the extremes of 2PM's sexiness.

Solo singer Seo In Young makes her official comeback with the release of her mini album 'Forever Young' with title song, "Let's Break Up". After her successful showcase in Itaewon, Seoul on May 14th, she is now kicking official promotions starting on this week's 'M! Countdown'.

Yoo Seung Woo says "Hello" on 'M! Countdown'

Marking his official debut, former 'Superstar K4' contestant, Yoo Seung Woo performed his single "Hello" for the first time on this week's episode of 'M! Countdown'.

Wonder Boyz, the new idol stars trained under the management of DJ DOC's Kim Chang Ryul, are back in the 'M! Countdown' stage with their brand new single, "Tarzan"!

"Tarzan" is gaining attention with its music video featuring Girl's Day's Hyeri as the female lead. Due to her friendship with the Wonder Boyz, Hyeri volunteered to appear in the music video for the group's comeback.

Wonder Boyz consists of members Master One, K, BakChiGi and Young Boy, and debuted with first mini album 'Open The Door' back in October 2012.

According to his management agency, Bobby Kim will be having his first solo concert at the Century Theater in Beijing, China on May 25th. Since he is one of the most representative soul musicians of Korea, it seems that his concert will be a good chance to introduce another genre of K-Pop.

Bobby Kim said, "China is a fascinating music industry. I want to show Chinese fans various genres from hip-hop to soul. I will try to have a whole new style of communication with Chinese fans."

FT Island's Choi Minhwan to play lead in 'Princess Hours' musical

FT Island's drummer Choi Minhwan has been cast as the lead role in the musical production of the popular TV drama series, 'Princess Hours'.

On May 14th, FNC Entertainment announced that Choi Minhwan will be casting in musical 'Princess Hours' as Crown Prince Lee Shin.

'Princess Hours' musical will be presented from July 5th until 21st for a total of 24 shows at Theater Brava located in Osaka, Japan. Choi Minhwan will be performing from July 17th until 21st.

Previously, Choi Minhwan played the youngest-ever lead character in 'Gwanghamun Love Song' which was presented from November 2012 until January 2013 at Osaka and Tokyo, and gained much attention with his impressive acting.

B2ST's Yoseob enters Oricon with solo album

B2ST's Yoseob is seeing some positive signs with his music activities in Japan.

According to Oricon on May 15, the Japanese version of Yoseob's first solo album, 'The First Collage' landed at No.3 spot of the Oricon′s Daily Album Chart after selling 7,876 copies on its first day.

The album consists of 7 tracks including the title song "Caffeine" as well as a remake of Fumiya Fujii's original Japanese song, "Another Orion".

Recently, Kim Soo Hyun was featured in the June issue of 'Vogue Japan' and introduced him as the "most spotlighted young actor from Korea". In addition to his charming and attractive pictures, the fashion magazine listed his career achievements.

YG Entertainment to open a branch in China

Following the global success of Psy as well as the success of Big Bang's first world tour last year, YG Entertainment is looking to expand internationally, trusting that China will be the next big market for K-pop.

YG Entertainment stated, "We plan to put more resources and invest more into the Greater China market, which we believe will be the next big market next to Japan. We are currently cooperating with our partners to create a company within the year, in either Beijing or Shanghai."

The agency predicts that it is still difficult for a record label to turn a profit in the current music scene so they plan to focus on promoting YG artists within the Chinese music market through concerts and other events.
